Doorbell Transformer Replacement If your video doorbell or chime isn’t working properly, the issue may be an undersized or failing transformer. We’ll diagnose the problem and, if needed, replace the transformer with one that’s properly rated for your system. What’s Included: ✅Diagnosis of power issues related to your doorbell or chime ✅Removal of the existing transformer (if accessible) ✅Installation of a new, properly sized transformer ✅Final testing to ensure your doorbell system is receiving the correct voltage and functions as intended ⚠️ Why Transformers Matter: Transformers convert household voltage into the low-voltage current required by doorbells, smart devices, and some lighting systems. Over time, they can overheat, fail, or become incompatible with modern smart systems. 📌 Note: Some transformer locations may not be accessible without additional work (e.g., inside sealed walls or behind finished surfaces). We’ll advise if additional access is required. 💬 Have a new smart doorbell and aren’t sure if your existing transformer can handle it? We’ve got you covered. 📃 A permit is generally not required when replacing existing devices with similar ones, as long as no wiring is altered. 🔒 Manufactured homes always require a permit for any electrical work — even small jobs like replacing a light or outlet. When a permit is required, additional charges will apply to cover application fees, inspection scheduling, and administrative handling. 🕒 Time estimates are for guidance only — actual installation time may vary. Your price stays the same. 🚚 Travel charges may apply for locations outside of Salmon Arm, Enderby, and Grindrod. Any travel fee will be confirmed when you book or request an estimate — no surprises.
Cancellation Policy
🔄 How Can I Reschedule or Cancel My Appointment? ▪️If you booked your service through our website, you can easily reschedule or cancel your appointment using the customer portal: ▪️Go to our website and click on the “Log In” or “My Bookings” button (usually found in the menu or footer). ▪️Sign in using the same email address you used to book your appointment. ▪️Once logged in, you’ll see your upcoming appointments. ▪️Click “Reschedule” or “Cancel” next to the relevant booking and follow the prompts. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer the time slot to another customer. There's no fee for rescheduling or canceling with proper notice. 📧 If you booked through another method (phone, email, or text), simply send us an email or message to update your appointment.
